1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?
In the past two years i've done a lot of projects. I've been in Wild West Project, the Labyrinth, The Athens and Sparta Project, a Greek Project, and a lot of others.
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?
Research means to me to go that you have to go to different internet site and gather information on a main topic. Then you compare all information and make a report off of it.
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?
I think mt biggest research and report failure was the Athens and Sparta project I did this year. I didn't have the best partner to work with and I didn't understand the project completely. I ended up getting a good grade on all the research I did, but I didn't get a good grade on my project. I won't make the same mistakes again.

For good, thorough research, you should go beyond the internet and use other sources of information. entry 2 3-15-07

I thought the webbing process was a good way to help me decide what subject I wanted to do for my I-Search project.

entry 3 - Why I Chose This Topic & What I Know About My Topic
I chose Ancient Egypt because I thought it would be a very good project. It had lots of information on it and it is a very interesting subject. Also i remember some of the information that we learned about Egypt like about Rameses and other big structures and Pharoahs. I think it's a really good choice.

I thought that i t helped a lot. It was hard to find some articles out of books on my specific topic, but i thought it worked well. I think that It also has some of the most reliable information becuase it came from a Greenwood Encyclopedia/Book search engine and not just some random website off the internet. I was able to find my information pretty well and overall thought it was a helpful. Teacher Response 3-21-07

I thought it helped. It gave me a lot of hard facts on my subject and i was able to learn things I didn't know about the Egyptians or things that I thought were true that weren't. When we used books yesterday i couldn't find anything relating to some of my questions in 2 of them, but I have a book I'm going to look at today that should be good Teacher Response 3-22-07

You have a lot of questions listed. Keep in mind that you do not have to answer all of them to have a good research paper. You can choose the ones that seem most important with regards to what life was like under Ramses' rule. You can focus on certain aspects of life rather than covering everything you can possibly think of. That may help you as far as some of the questions you haven't been able to answer.
